Watercolor Red Poppies

This is a painting of some poppies I did about a week ago. I wanted to paint something a little more abstract. This painting was so much fun to do! I just had my 4 wisdom teeth pulled 4 days ago and I am still feelin' loopy :) but I hope to be back to my painting again soon!

Cat in the box!

Everytime I go to scan a painting I take my scanner out of the closet. My kitty cat Pudden's favorite thing to do is jump in and play in the scanner box. It has now become a tradition! The only problem is she gets hair all over the box and it gets on my scanner. So I'm always redoing scans since there was hair on the glass. But she is so cute that I don't mind, it's our funny little moment together when it comes to my painting. She is a little character :)
